According to people, a memorial service for Michael Jackson may be scheduled for Tuesday morning at Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles. Previously, Michael Jackson’s families were planning to have the memorial at the Neverland but it was not able to obtain a residential exemption required for a burial on private party.

People reported that local law enforcement confirmed a special event will take place at Staples but did not provide additional details. A local station KABC also said that Police have already been stationed near the area and have set up barriers.
